We are dedicated to providing thoughtful psychological support, blending empathy with effective therapeutic techniques.

The story behind TheGraciousSpace

I am Hannah, the therapist behind TheGraciousSpace! I have always been curious about what shapes who we are. This desire to better understand myself, and to make more intentional choices in my life, set me on a journey of exploration and learning. ​

 

Firstly, I pursued a degree in Sociology, where I explored how social, cultural, and family shape the individual. This provided a deep appreciation for the ways in which society and upbringing can impact our sense of self.  ​

 

In wanting to learn how to psychologically support others to create lasting change, I decided to delve deeper into the internal and emotional factors that influence identity and emotional wellbeing. This looked like completing a higher education qualification in Psychodynamic Counselling and Psychotherapy. Through this training, I discovered how early life experiences shape our unconscious patterns and influence everyday decisions, such as how we respond to stress. ​

 

Through my clinical work in counselling services and charitable organisations, I have (and continue to) learnt to integrate personal insight, academic background, and professional experience.

 

At GraciousSpace, I bring all of this together to support others on their own journeys toward deeper self-understanding and working through emotional distress.
